Manuscript Scene Extractor
The Manuscript Scene Extractor is powered by Authorloom's own Scene Discovery Engine.
Unlike scene extraction tools that rely on generative AI, the Scene Discovery Engine uses deterministic software that has been purpose-built by the Authorloom development team.
Deterministic software follows a predefined set of rules. Given the same manuscript, it will always produce the same results. It doesn't learn from your writing, rewrite your work or generate new content.
The Scene Discovery Engine contains all of its rules before your manuscript is uploaded. Your manuscript is compared against those rules. The rules are not created from your manuscript, nor do they change based on it.
The engine analyses your manuscript against hundreds of predefined storytelling patterns and scoring rules that we've developed specifically for identifying scenes that are well suited to social media marketing.
These include characteristics such as:
- Dialogue density
- Emotional moments
- Conflict and tension
- Cliffhangers
- Scene pacing
- Readability
- Paragraph structure
- Sentence flow

A simple way to think about it is as a much more advanced version of search or find-and-replace technology. Instead of searching for a single word or phrase, the Scene Discovery Engine searches for hundreds of storytelling patterns at once, scores potential scenes against our predefined rules and presents the strongest candidates for you to review.

Your Manuscript
We understand that your manuscript is one of your most valuable assets.
When you use the Manuscript Scene Extractor:
- Your manuscript is processed only to perform the extraction you requested.
- We do not retain a permanent copy of your manuscript.
- If you would like to perform another extraction in the future, you will simply upload your manuscript again.
- We do not send your manuscript to generative AI providers.
- We do not use your manuscript to train AI models.
- We do not use your manuscript to improve or train our own Scene Discovery Engine.

Hook suggestions are created using Authorloom's curated library of proven marketing formulas.
The software matches suitable hook templates to the type of scene that has been extracted.
The hooks are selected from our library.
They are not generated by AI.
Authors are free to edit, customise or replace any suggested hook before publishing.
Captions
Authorloom does not generate captions using AI.
Every caption is created by the author.
Our Caption Creator provides professional formatting tools that help authors structure, organise and style their captions for social media, while keeping complete control over the final content.
The words remain yours.
Video Production
Every video created by Authorloom is produced using our own rendering engine.
Layouts, animations, transitions, timings, captions, overlays and visual effects are generated by Authorloom's production pipeline.
Videos are not created using generative AI.
They are rendered using the settings, layouts and creative choices selected by the author.
Transparency
We believe authors deserve complete transparency about how their work is processed.
That's why we have chosen to build Authorloom using traditional software engineering rather than generative AI.
