These Terms and Conditions apply to the Authorloom website, beta programme, applications, tools, services and related communications (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these terms.
Authorloom is operated by Authorloom Lda, with registered address at Avenida Fernando Pessoa nº 266, 4470-603 Moreira da Maia, Portugal. Until those details are finalised, you can contact us at support@authorloom.com.
1. Who Authorloom Is For
Authorloom is built for authors, publishers and authorised author marketing teams who want to create, organise, schedule and analyse social content based on book-related materials.
You must only upload, connect, manage or process content that you own, control, or are authorised to use. You are responsible for making sure your content, book materials, pen names, brand assets and marketing activity comply with applicable laws, platform rules and any contracts you have with third parties.
2. Accounts, Pen Names and Agency Use
Individual author accounts are intended for authors managing their own author brands and pen names. You may only manage pen names that belong to you or that you are lawfully authorised to manage.
If you manage multiple authors, client accounts, publishing clients, or pen names that do not belong to you, you must use an appropriate agency account or another plan expressly approved by Authorloom. We may suspend or limit accounts that appear to be using an individual plan for agency, client-management, resale or unauthorised multi-author use.
3. Account Access, Beta Access and Credits
Creating an account does not guarantee access to every feature or package. We may open, limit or phase access based on capacity, product readiness, account type, genre, use case or other operational requirements.
Beta credits, bonus credits, early adopter discounts, affiliate rewards and similar offers may be limited, time-bound, non-transferable and subject to change. Unless we state otherwise in writing, credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
4. Google Drive Authorisation
Some Authorloom features may allow you to connect Google Drive so we can deliver files, organise assets, retrieve selected materials, or support workflows you request. By authorising Google Drive access, you allow Authorloom to use the authorised access only for the purposes of providing the Services and carrying out actions you request.
You should only connect a Google account and Google Drive files that you are authorised to use. You remain responsible for managing your Google account permissions and may revoke Authorloom's access through your Google account settings at any time. If you revoke access, some features may stop working until access is restored.
Authorloom does not sell Google Drive data. We do not use Google Drive data for advertising, and we do not use it to train general AI models. We only share Google Drive data where necessary to provide the Services, comply with the law, protect the Services, or use trusted service providers acting on our behalf.
5. Your Content and Rights
You keep ownership of your books, excerpts, screenshots, images, audio, video assets, brand materials and other content you provide to Authorloom. You grant Authorloom a limited licence to host, process, transform, store, reproduce and deliver that content as needed to provide the Services.
You must not upload or process content that infringes copyright, trade marks, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual restrictions or any other third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing generated or prepared content before publishing it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Authorloom to:
- break any law or regulation;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
- send spam or deceptive marketing;
- upload malware, harmful code or unlawful content;
- attempt to bypass security, rate limits or access controls;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law;
- misrepresent your identity, authorisation or relationship with an author or client.
7. Subscriptions, Fees and Payment
Pricing, plans, credits, usage limits and included features may be shown on our website or inside the app. Fees are charged according to the plan or services you choose. We may update pricing and plan features from time to time, but changes will not affect paid periods that have already started unless required by law or agreed with you.
Additional services, high-volume usage, agency work, queue jumps, content pulling, distribution or bespoke production may be quoted separately.
8. Third-Party Platforms
Authorloom may integrate with or help prepare content for third-party services such as Google Drive, social media platforms, email services, analytics tools and payment providers. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, rules, pricing, moderation decisions, account restrictions or changes to their APIs.
9. Results and Availability
We work to make Authorloom useful, reliable and commercially valuable, but we do not guarantee particular marketing results, reach, engagement, sales, rankings, platform approvals or account outcomes. The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party issues or technical problems.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, used the wrong account type, created risk for Authorloom or other users, failed to pay fees, or used the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authorloom is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses, including lost profits, lost sales, lost data, lost goodwill, platform account action, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Authorloom develops, especially while the product is in beta or early launch. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
